From time to time labradors become available for adoption through a variety of avenues. Rescuing a labrador can be a wonderful way to add a dog to your family. Many of our members take on the responsibility of fostering and rehoming dogs in need of a second chance.
The organizations listed below are a good place to start when looking to adopt a labrador retriever. CCLRC has no affiliation with these organization other than our love for Labradors. We want to see all Labradors find loving homes where they can thrive.
The Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno [LRRF]
The Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno [LRRF] was established out of a growing need to rescue and provide loving homes for abused, abandoned, and unwanted Labs in the greater Fresno and Central Valley area. We are an all volunteer, 100% foster based local organization and do not have a facility to house our dogs.
We rely completely on donations from our dog loving community to help with medical expenses, food and supplies to meet the needs of our Labs. We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. EIN 27-3741358
