2006
CCLRC hosts its first Working Certificate weekend—allowing owners an opportunity to test their Labradors innate retrieving abilities.
We also started our partnership with SunMaid Kennel Club in Fresno with Supported Entry of Labradors which we have continued every year since.

2013
CCLRC hosts its first specialty (Shamrock Specialty) in Turlock with over 125 dogs competing. On February 13, 2025, we will host our 18th and 19th specialties in Fresno, CA.

2018
CCLRC held our first AKC sanctioned Obedience and Rally Trials. During the fall of 2025 we will host our 8th and 9th trials at the Madera County Fairgrounds.

2024
WE’RE 20 YEARS OLD!
CCLRC is now about 70 members strong with members from all over the Western United States.
We’ve done some dock diving, we’ve done some Barn Hunt.
What’s next? Scent work, agility or coursing anyone?
In 2025 we will offer a series of Educational Seminars presented by Board member Dr. Autumn Davidson, DVM via ZOOM for our members and other Labrador clubs in CA.
